Top 5 Tips to Keep Your Home Safe During Covid-19

In the era where a pandemic is on the loose, it has never been more important to keep your home protected and sanitized. The COVID-19 spread may have slowed down now and the world seems to be moving towards a new sense of normalcy.

However, this does not mean the disease is gone, many regions around the globe are still fighting the spread and one of the best ways to keep yourself safe and disease free is by starting at home. Here are a few tips on how you can keep your home safe from COVID-19 this 2022:

  1. Clean those Hands

A simple rinse will not do, you need to really get in there and wash your hands all the way through. This should be the ultimate house rule, even if you have just walked up the street and back it is wise that you wash your hands well. Better to be safe than sorry.

  1. Take off those shoes

There are a lot of germs that get stuck in your shoes, you will be thankful if you leave them out near your door rather than walk all over the house with those germs. This will not only help you reduce the chances of a virus spreading, the floor will definitely be cleaner. Keep a shoe rack at the entryway and notice the difference yourself.

  1. Disinfection

We all have those areas in our homes that we tend to touch often. Now is the time to frequently disinfect those areas for optimum protection. This is inclusive of handrails, doorknobs, keys, refrigerator doors and drawer handles. If you are feeling a little sick and some COVID-19 symptoms are showing up out of the blue, maybe it is time to do an ecotest rapid antigen test to get fast and highly accurate results.

  1. Clean your Things

Grab all your personal items and just start cleaning them up! Your infamous cell phones, car keys, cards, and lipsticks are ideal spots for germs and viruses to hide inside. Make sure you wipe these items down on a daily basis. Especially that cell phone! Many don’t realize that one of the major germ accumulators is their very own mobile phones! Most disinfectants are phone-friendly so you don’t have to worry about any possible damage to your mobile.

  1. Shower Up

Now is the time to bathe and shower as you have never done before! Just showering daily is not going to help you out anymore. If you have decided to go out and about, shopping, eating, or running any errands it is best you hop into that shower as soon as you return home.

When you go out, you have been exposed to different environments and people, which makes you more susceptible to disease. Change out of your dirty clothes, have a quick shower, and put on some clean clothes afterward.
